PROJECT DETAILS
RYCON Constructions were engaged to construct a modern commercial building for Brooke’s Blooms in Richlands, Queensland.
This is a beautifully designed space providing a business home for the residential and commercial landscaping solutions company providing services to Brisbane and Greater Queensland clients.
Kelly Gray from Sparc Architects created a sustainable building design for Brooke’s Blooms providing protection, colour, design, and comfort. The building has both commercial office space and storage for equipment and plants. This project was also interesting because the block itself has a unique shape. Through Kelly’s designs, the team got the best out of the block regarding optimal use of space.
External design statements include black paneling, the Brookes Blooms light-up signage, a stunning full wall mural depicting the story of the business, and the incorporation of the vibrant pink brand colour. Internally, the building is timeless with neutral tones, but with small pops of pink to maintain the brand colour the client is so passionate about.
This was a ‘crafted’ build, meaning everything you look at anywhere on the project is built as perfectly as anyone is capable of doing it. What is really quite a simple design, is made to look like something far greater. There was a residential flare on this commercial project.
